SpletBeecham House starts a tad slowly in the first episode, but picks up very quickly. The actors, scenery, costumes, and storylines are excellent! Masterpiece Theatre, on PBS, presented this first season. I watched it, but wanted to see it again to really see it. There's so much to savor in each scene that I had to watch it again.
